I'm Laura Martin, and I'm running for Colorado House District 17 because I believe leadership is about service to the community—and my community is Southeast Colorado Springs.

 

I am a woman of faith, a servant leader, and a community advocate who believes the government should protect our freedoms and listen to the people it serves. Throughout my life, I've stepped up when something needed to be done, and today is no different.

 

I'm running because I believe Colorado is at a crossroads.

 

Colorado deserves leaders who are grounded in principle, accountable to the people, and willing to fight for what is right. 

 

Too many families are struggling with rising costs, declining educational outcomes, government overreach, and policies that fail to reflect the values of the people they serve.

 

I refuse to sit on the sidelines and simply complain about the direction of our state. I believe each of us has a responsibility to step forward when our communities need leadership.

 

My campaign is about protecting freedom, promoting affordability, lowering the cost of living, strengthening families, defending parental rights, and ensuring future generations inherit a Colorado that is safe, prosperous, and full of opportunity.
